The Travelodge near East Midlands Airport is actually in the complex of the Moto Motorway Service Station at Junction 23A of the M1. On the ground floor there is the service station with all the shops and facilities with lift access to the Travelodge which is above.
It's easy to find this Travelodge, just make your way to the services at Junction 23A on the M1 and your there. Car parking is free when you stay at this hotel and has 80 spaces. Please be aware that you park in the services car park, so you need to enter your car registration number details into a touch screen at hotel reception when checking in prevent any parking tickets/fines being issued. Rest assured, if you are staying at the Travelogde, then the parking is free.
This Travelodge is only a quarter of a mile from East Midlands Airport. It does not offer 'Park & Fly' deals in itself, but it is an ideal base for a cheap overnight stopover, near the Airport.
Many people find it convienent to stay at the Travelodge and then arrange to park at the Airparks site, only a mile away if they have an early flight. This combines cheap parking and a low cost hotel for flights from East Midlands Airport.
